The truth of experience lies in change it brings
Yet all experiences change different things
What change might mean for you and for me
Ah, that’s the rub, we must wait and see.
The truth of experience lies in change it brings
Yet all experiences change different things
What change might mean for you and for me
Ah, that’s the rub, we must wait and see.
Come, any who with half a mind
Acknowledge dangers threatening our kind
For to the brink the whole world teeters
Led this time by powerful tweeters
Let’s halt the madness, pause to say
This isn’t a price we’re willing to pay
Don’t threaten, but talk, face to face
Only this can save the human race
0hh Dear
This does seem queer
I am not sure
Is this me here?
Are these words mine?
Or are they not?
When did I pen them?
I’ve quite forgot
HOW strange to claim we like some things
WHEN no one knows WHAT tomorrow brings
There is much WHICH we have yet to try
So likes are temporary, now you know WHY.
Hello tomorrow; I just can’t wait
To know what fortune lies on your date
Good would be great, but if bad is my fate
I’ll take what comes, just don’t be late.
Autumn years, red-amber hued
Slow passing hours, quiet thought
Gentle emotions, guilt imbued
Of things achieved, but others aught
Pain and suffering
Misery, fear
Common hardships
Many must bear
Though some exist
Without such woes
Not mindful how
For others, it goes
But all will know
They share equal fate
When time is up
On that future date
What if, then,
Each gets their due
And what lies in store
Is all up to you?
If not so, fine!
Carry on as before
No need for insurance
Unless you’re not sure
The rising sun and beating heart
Embracing lovers, soon to part
A furry friend, a solid rock
Hands marking time upon a clock
Tasting coffee, fresh from the bean
A peaceful moonlit landscape scene
Violent storm-tossed crashing seas
Gently humming honey bees
Are these and more as they seem to be,
If we each experience them differently?
Is life a dream, or is it real?
Do we know the answer, because we feel?
